Actress Elizabeth Olsen has praised her "inspiring" sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen but confessed she never listens to their advice.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron star is sister to the former child actors-turned-designers, who have collectively built up a $100 million fortune through their various fashion ventures including their labels The Row and Elizabeth and James.
While her sisters became household names at a young age, Elizabeth has been steadily building her movie repertoire with roles in films such as Martha Marcy May Marlene, Silent House, and new film Wind River.
The 28-year-old is full of praise for her famous siblings but in an interview with British newspaper Metro, Elizabeth, who is dating musician Robbie Arnett from band Milo Greene, admitted she generally ignores their advice.
"They're really inspiring women. They handle themselves with a lot of class," she gushed to the publication about her diminutive siblings. "They're some of the best in their field and they're incredibly talented. Their discipline is inspiring."
"I don't listen to them," she admitted. "That's my problem! I'm like, 'Let me fail on my own! I want to figure it out!'"
Her strategy seems to be working as the actress has so far navigated the pitfalls of fame swimmingly.
In Taylor Sheridan film Wind River, Elizabeth plays an FBI agent who joins forces with a wildlife officer played by Jeremy Renner to uncover the fate of a dead Native American woman. But she revealed her ambitions aren't limited to being in front of the camera, sharing she has dreams to produce movies too.
"I like being part of something from the beginning and trying to get people together," she said. "That's the most important thing - it's all a team effort."
