Drew Barrymore will be spending Christmas with her ex-husband Will Kopelman and their children.
The former couple has two daughters together, four-year-old Olive and two-year-old Frankie. Despite splitting earlier this year (16), with their divorce finalized in August, Drew and Will are set to celebrate the holiday season together.
“Most of the family is going on this big adventure trip and our kids are just too young, so Will and I are going to do something fun with them,” she told the New York Post's gossip column Page Six. "We have like three sets of different Christmas plans... and then we’re going on this adventure. It’s going to be really nice and I’m going to a warmer climate, so I’m excited."
Drew and Will continue to put the wellbeing of their daughters first and the actress is still good friends with her former spouse, so much so that she is even going to cheer him on when he runs in the New York Marathon this Sunday (06Nov16).
“We were together today at our kids' school,” she smiled. “We spend weekends together. He’s running in the (New York) Marathon, so we’re going to go and wave him on."
The 41-year-old actress recently opened up about how she and Will manage their co-parenting existence, telling Entertainment Tonight that it's all about "constant plans".
She added that the family were planning to spend Halloween together, telling the outlet: "I think plans. Constant plans. We, as a family, have three dates for this Halloween. It’s like the best day ever. It’s the only day that’s acceptable and not totally creepy to wear a mask, so God bless Halloween! I love it. I get to be an anonymous parent that night, so I’m into that!"
Drew’s divorce from Will is her third - she was previously married to Jeremy Thomas from 1994 to 1995 and actor Tom Green from 2001 from 2002.
