Drake offered his beloved Toronto Raptors basketball team extra support at a game on Monday (14Mar16) by whispering in the ear of an opposition player.
The Toronto-born rapper regularly attends Raptors National Basketball Association (NBA) home matches, watching from a courtside seat at the team's Air Canada Centre home.
With his team trailing by two points against the Chicago Bulls with just 25 seconds left in Monday night's game, the hip-hop star began talking to Bulls player Justin Holiday, who was attempting to restart play from the sideline.
Holiday attempted to ignore Drake, but held on to the ball for longer than the five seconds allowed in the rules of basketball, resulting in a foul which regained the ball for Toronto.
Although it's not clear whether the Hotline Bling star's apparent trash talk caused the foul, Chicago's coach Fred Hoiberg threw his arms up in anger after the incident.
Despite Drake's extra involvement, Toronto did not go on to win the game, losing 109-107 and a number of Chicago Bulls fans took to Twitter to accuse the rapper of almost costing their team the game.
One user, named @JoeyDavidWhiteI wrote, "can't believe @Drake almost cost us the game, regardless raptors are hell of a team, good win. Go Bulls, see red. Bulls own the 6."
Off the court, the Canadian musician also does more than just cheer his team on, as he was named the Raptors' Global Ambassador in 2013.
