Rapper Dmx is planning to honor the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by donating a portion of the proceeds of his new album to a memorial fund.
Undisputed will be released on Tuesday (11Sep12), the 11th anniversary of the 2001 atrocity, and he is hoping to ease the hardship of the families still mourning lost loved ones by pledging to share his profits from first-week sales of the disc.
The album is DMX's first since 2006 and marks his attempt at a chart comeback following years of legal troubles.
Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the worst terrorist attack in America's history after two hijacked airplanes crashed into the Twin Towers at New York's World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. A third slammed into the Pentagon in Virginia and a fourth crash landed in Pennsylvania.
