The mother of the late Dj Am is set to launch a new charitable foundation for recovering addicts in memory of her tragic son.
The record producer, real name Adam Goldstein, died from an accidental drug overdose in his New York apartment in August, 2009.
His passing rocked the world of showbiz and now his mom, Andrea Gross, has created a new non-profit to help addicts on their road to recovery.
Gross teamed up with bosses at MusiCares for the project and she'll celebrate the launch of the DJ AM Memorial Fund at the organisation's annual benefit concert in Los Angeles on 31 May (12).
