Amy Winehouse's singer goddaughter Dionne Bromfield was overwhelmed with emotion as she viewed tributes to the late star outside her former London home on the first anniversary of her death on Monday (23Jul12).
The Back to Black hitmaker was found dead at the property on 23 July 2011, and the street outside became a shrine to Winehouse in the days after her passing.
Bromfield took to her Twitter.com account in the early hours of Monday in Britain to remember her godmother, and later on in the day she made a special trip to Winehouse's former home in Camden, north London.
The 16 year old was photographed looking at tributes laid in honour of Winehouse, and was caught fighting back tears.
Winehouse's father Mitch also visited the site and mingled with fans who were paying their respects to the late star, and singer Cheryl Cole reached out to him as he dealt with the first anniversary of his daughter's death.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Dear Mitch... Thinking of you and your family today and sending you all lots of love."
Fellow pop star Jessie J also took a moment to remember the singer during the day and told her followers: "Listening to the amazing Amy Winehouse with my band..."
