Singer Ciara has been forced to cancel two gigs Down Under after a cyclone tore through the region.
The Goodies hitmaker was heading to Queensland, Australia on Friday (20Feb15) when her plane was diverted to Melbourne to avoid high winds and stormy weather caused by Cyclone Marcia.
She was due to perform shows in Cairns, Australia on Friday and in Papua New Guinea on Saturday (21Feb15) but has axed both concerts because of her travel woes.
In a series of posts on Instagram.com, she writes, "Stuck At The Airport Due To #CycloneMarcia... Flights Into #Cairns and #PapuaNewGuinea Are Cancelled... Looks Like We're Diverted To Melbourne!! Such A Bummer I Will Be Back VERY SOON With The REAL TOUR! Praying That All Will Be OK With Everyone and Their Families. Love C."
It is not the first problem Ciara has encountered on her tour Down Under - on Wednesday (18Feb15) she was slated to perform at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand for 1,500 fans but hit the stage 90 minutes late and then walked off after a 10-minute set due to "technical difficulties", according to reports.
