New dad Chris Hemsworth is riddled with guilt while promoting his new movie Snow White And The Huntsman because he feels terrible for leaving his baby daughter behind in the U.K.
The Thor star has scaled back his work commitments since he and his wife Elsa Pataky became first-time parents to little India last month (May12), but he admits he's finding it hard to be away from his family in London.
During an appearance on Live! With Kelly on Friday (01Jun12), he said, "She (India) is back at home in the U.K. with mom.
"It's funny, I didn't do much of the tour for Snow White and the Huntsman just because we had a baby, I didn't wanna be away. Yet I said, 'Oh I'll come to America for a few days'. As soon as I got on the plane I was like, 'What am I doing? I'm a terrible father, I need to (go home)'. I agreed (to the trip) beforehand, a couple of days, but it's (been tough)."
