Chris Brown scored a custody battle victory on Tuesday (24May16), when a judge rejected Nia Guzman's efforts to reduce his visits with Royalty.
The Loyal singer and his former lover Nia were locked in a custody battle over their two-year-old daughter Royalty, but they reached a settlement in September (15) which entitled Chris to joint custody and 12 days of unmonitored contact with Royalty a month.
However, Nia has continued to push for the amount of days to be reduced and for the visits to be supervised, as she believes Chris is unfit to look after their child on his own.
A judge rejected her request in court on Tuesday, so their joint legal and physical custody arrangement will remain in place, according to TMZ.com.
Nia is also pursuing more child support. Chris currently pays for all Royalty's nannies, education and health bills and $2,500 a month in child support. She wants the monthly payments to be increased to almost $16,000 a month, according to the website.
The news comes just days after the 27-year-old reportedly blasted Nia on Instagram for putting Royalty in a black ballerina costume, complete with tutu, for a dance class. He apparently wrote a comment about Nia's picture, writing, "It's crazy to me that a parent would OK dressing our daughter like she's 16. I ain't cool wit that. SHE IS 2!!!!"
Nia responded by writing, "If anybody thinks something is wrong with a baby...mad at the world in dance class...in her TUTU...U need to go pray. #NAMASTE"
The singer also disputed reports he had been kicked off a private jet for smoking marijuana on the way to the Cannes Film Festival last week (ends22May16).
