Channing Tatum showed off the moves he picked up as a male stripper by gyrating against Sir Elton John at a star-studded benefit concert on Tuesday (03Apr12).
The 21 Jump Street star, who had a brief stint as an exotic dancer at the age of 19, thrilled the audience by grinding with the Rocket Man at New York City's Carnegie Hall.
The crowd was also treated to a musical performance from Hollywood actress Meryl Streep, Bruno Mars, Jennifer Hudson and Sting, who organised the show in aid of his Rainforest Fund.
Sir Elton was thrilled to join the star-studded line-up, telling reporters, "It's probably one of the most fun things you could ever do. What kind of event would you expect to see Meryl Streep singing with Jennifer Hudson and Bryn Terfel and Channing Tatum dancing, and Rosanne Cash and Vince Gill, you know?
"It was just such a programme - and Bruno Mars, who is astonishing, and Esperanza Spalding. It's like a wish list of people you've never played with. It's the most fun thing to do."
Sting founded the charitable organisation with his wife Trudie Styler in 1989 after witnessing the destruction of the Amazon rainforest.
