Britney Spears' confidence is apparently soaring through the roof, and it's all thanks to her mystery life coach.
The 34-year-old singer is currently wowing audiences with her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency, flaunting her svelte figure and impressing with her vocals and dance moves. It's a far cry from how she was following her 2007 breakdown, which saw her shave her head and her father Jamie becoming her conservator, and this transformation is said to be down to one man in particular.
"Britney's been gradually getting better for years, and being in Vegas is a big help for her state of mind," an insider told Britain's Heat magazine. "You can see the difference in how she was in those first shows in 2013 to now. But it's her new life coach - who she calls her 'swagger coach' - that's helping her take things to the next level. She won't tell anyone what they do or who he is, but it's working. She's more confident than she's been in forever."
It isn't just her career that the anonymous aid is said to be helping with; he's also made her feel comfortable in her own skin and accept her single status. In 2015, Britney split from her boyfriend Charlie Ebersol, before which she was seeing David Lucado, engaged to her former manager Jason Trawick and married to backing dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she shares sons Sean and Jayden. She's had little time as a single woman, and is apparently enjoying being solo at the moment.
On top of these life perks, Britney recently confirmed she's recording new music and single Make Me (Oooh), from her upcoming ninth studio album, is scheduled to drop in May (16). Although her dad Jamie is still in charge of her finances, the star is optimistic about the future.
"Jamie's still in charge, but Brit's at the point where she's accepted this is the way things have to be for now and that it's helped her get to this point," the source added. "She feels better than she has in years and thinks the only way is up from here."
