Richard Linklater's Boyhood has continued its winning streak by nabbing four prizes from California's San Francisco Film Critics Circle (SFFCC).
The coming-of-age film was given the top prize of Best Picture, as well as Best Director for Linklater, Best Supporting Actress for Patricia Arquette, and Best Film Editing.
Another Oscar frontrunner, Alejandro Gonzalez Inaritu's Birdman, followed close behind with three wins, including Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor for Michael Keaton and Best Supporting Actor for Edward Norton.
Meanwhile, Julianne Moore was named Best Actress for her critically acclaimed role in Still Alice, Paul Thomas Anderson was feted with the Best Adapted Screenplay prize for Inherent Vice, and Polish film Ida scored the Best Foreign Language Film and Best Cinematography, a day after dominating the European Film Awards on Saturday night (13Dec14).
