Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has been moved into a hospice as she continues to fight for her life, almost six months after a near-drowning incident at her Georgia home.
The 22 year old has been in a coma since she was found face down and unresponsive in a bath tub at the property she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon on 31 January (15).
Last week (ends19Jun15), a lawyer for her father, singer Bobby Brown, dismissed reports suggesting the aspiring actress' family was preparing to take her home "to die", but her aunt, Pat Houston, has now revealed the chances of her niece making a recovery are bleak.
A statement issued to E! News on Wednesday (24Jun15) reads: "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."
Bobby Brown and his former sister-in-law Pat have been making joint decisions about Bobbi Kristina's care since they were appointed co-guardians of the youngster's estate in May (15).
Bobbi Kristina had been receiving treatment at the DeKalb Medical Center, a longterm rehabilitation facility, following her earlier move from Atlanta's Emory University Hospital.
Her maternal grandmother, gospel icon Cissy Houston, previously admitted the youngster is still unresponsive and has suffered irreversible brain damage.
