Singer Blake Shelton is adamant he is "in a good place" and "loving" life following his divorce from fellow country music star Miranda Lambert.
The musicians hit headlines in July (15) when they announced they had finalised their divorce after four years marriage, and The Voice judge has now insisted he is doing well after the breakdown.
"I'm good, I'm good," he said during an interview on the CMT Hot 20 Countdown TV show, "I'm in a good place. I wasn't, but I am now. It's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I've had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened, and I'm loving it."
The former couple announced their split in a joint statement, which read, "This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately."
Blake recently spoke about their quick divorce, admitting they had a prenuptial agreement which helped proceedings move smoothly.
"In Oklahoma, it happens so fast. Like, Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had a prenuptial agreement... Once we filed for divorce, it was over in, like, I think it was, like, a nine or 10-day waiting period until it's over," he told the Bobby Bones Show in a radio interview last month (Sep15).
The former couple began dating in 2005, and got hitched in 2011.
