Beyonce stunned Jay Z and Hillary Clinton fans on Friday night (04Nov16) when she made an unexpected appearance at her husband's gig in Cleveland, Ohio.
The rapper was headlining a free show supporting Clinton's presidential campaign with pals like Big Sean, Chance The Rapper and J. Cole, when his wife suddenly appeared onstage and urged fans to vote for Hillary next week (08Nov16).
"We have to think about the future of our daughters, our sons, and vote for someone who cares for them as much as we do," the R&B superstar said. "And that is why I'm with her."
The Democratic nominee for president was also in Cleveland for the big show and posed for pictures with Jay Z and Beyonce backstage before the show. Hillary eventually took the stage to thank the rapper and his special guest, who marched onstage to the sound of her hit Formation.
Beyonce performed the track before telling the crowd, "Less than 100 years ago, women did not have the right to vote. Look how far we've come from having no voice to being on the brink of making history by electing the first woman president. But we have to vote."
"Now, we have the opportunity to create more change," she added. "I want my daughter to grow up seeing a woman lead our country and know that her possibilities are limitless."
Beyonce's surprise set at the Get-Out-The-Vote gig also featured renditions of Freedom, a Destiny's Child medley and Girls (Who Run the World). She then joined her husband to belt out his tune Holy Grail, taking over Justin Timberlake's parts of the hit.
