Beyonce and Jay Z are setting down roots in New Orleans, Louisiana after reportedly purchasing a historic former church in the city.
The hip-hop supercouple reportedly paid $2.5 million for the Spanish Baroque-style property, which was built as a church in the popular Garden District in the 1920s.
It was later used as the headquarters of the Ballet Hysell dance company, run by late choreographer Harvey Hysell, and was then converted into a mansion in 2000, reports the New York Daily News.
The pad's broker Britt Galloway, from real estate firm Keller Williams, is refusing to confirm the identity of the new owners, but reveals, "They (the buyers) saw the house when it was listed a while ago. Then they came back after it was no longer on the market."
The Crazy In Love hitmakers have become regular visitors to New Orleans after Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles, moved from New York to New Orleans in 2013.
