Bella Thorne has shut down rumors suggesting she was referring to Kylie Jenner when she talked about a mystery "mean girl" in a new magazine interview.
The singer/actress hit headlines after disclosing details about a real-life Hollywood bully in her new cover interview for Seventeen magazine, in which she takes aim at an unnamed socialite.
"She's in the business, and she's very, very mean," she tells the publication. "I stay away from her at all costs. I never say hello to her. Her siblings are not mean like she is. It's just her.
"One of the reasons I don't like her is because she's been a billionaire since she was very little, and she's never had to work for anything in her life."
The 18 year old declined to offer up further clues to the girl's identity, but her comments were enough to send fans into a spin, with many speculating she was talking about Kim Kardashian's half-sister, reality TV regular Kylie Jenner.
However, Bella has since made it clear the mean girl in question isn't Kylie after responding to an article posted on celebrity blogger Perez Hilton's website on Tuesday (17Nov15).
"@PerezHilton I adore the Jenner girls especially @KylieJenner," Bella tweets.
The young actress isn't the only celebrity to be involved in a fall out with another star - Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have long been rumored to be enemies after the Shake It Off singer previously took aim at a mystery chart rival for being unfriendly at an awards show and "sabotaging" a business deal. Many fans and pop pundits believe Taylor's song Bad Blood is about her feud with Katy.
In June (15), the pop rivalry hit headlines again after Katy was reported to have registered a new song titled 1984, an apparent revenge track aimed at Taylor and her hit album 1989, a title which refers to the Love Story singer's birth year.
The Teenage Dream star, who was born in 1984, was noted as an artist on the tune, which was listed on music licencing organization BMI's registration website, but a representative for Katy at Universal Music Group dismissed any involvement.
"Katy Perry's managers at Direct Management Group confirm that this story is completely false," the spokesperson told Billboard.com. "Katy Perry was not involved in writing, singing, recording or registering this song."
