Actor Armie Hammer was once attacked by a homeless man in Australia after falling victim to a case of mistaken identity.
The Social Network star suddenly found himself fighting for his life during a vacation Down Under after he was mistaken for a guy who owed the drifter money.
He tells Elle magazine, "This homeless guy tried to stab me. I punched him and stole his knife... I was full of p**s and hubris (pride), and was like, 'F**k you'. I took his knife because he would have tried to stab somebody else! He was obviously crazy."
In hindsight Hammer confesses his reaction may have been a bit dramatic, and he might have to work out his anger issues.
He says, "My wife (Elizabeth Chambers) says I have a frontal lobe issue. Your frontal lobe controls your danger response, like, 'Whoa, I shouldn't be doing this'. But she says it's OK because your frontal lobe doesn't develop until around 30, so I have until then to get all this s**t out of my system and then I need to calm down."
The incident wasn't the only time the 26 year old has almost been stabbed - he told the publication his ex-girlfriend once tried to stab him with a butcher knife during sex.
