Ariana Grande will never go thirsty on tour or in the studio after signing on to endorse youth-targeted bottled water brand Wat-AAH!
Brand CEO Rose Cameron, who previously worked with First Lady Michelle Obama and Beyonce on the Let's Move campaign, announced the company's new spokesmodel on Wednesday (01Oct14), stating she needed "a superstar that could get the word out very strongly to the kids and teens we're after".
The endorsement deal is 21-year-old Grande's first and she has also become an equity partner in the company, investing an undisclosed sum.
In return, Wat-AAH! executives will collaborate Grande with a limited-edition bottle in 2015, according to Billboard.com.
The Problem singer says, "Living a healthy lifestyle is so important to me, and this is one of the reasons I chose to partner with Wat-AAH! My fans are my everything, and because of this, I could only endorse something I believe in. Also, I love drinking water and I want to inspire my fans to do the same.
"As a partner in the company, I am excited to share Wat-AAH! with everyone!"
