Actress Anne Hathaway is no longer seeking her pre-baby figure.
The first-time mum and her husband Adam Shulman welcomed their son Jonathan back in March (16) and the Les Miserables star is beyond happy to report she is now back in the gym again.
“I’ve started to work out - I love that feeling, I love feeling strong," she tells People magazine, noting that achieving the body she had before she fell pregnant is not her main fitness goal.
“I think shape is an ongoing thing in everybody’s life,” Anne explains. “I’m not trying to recapture something that was. I’m going with what it is now. Some things I guess are the same as they were, and other things are a little bit different. I’m just so proud of what the changes signify. So, there’s no rush to do anything. I’m so happy being here.”
The Oscar winner has noticed her anatomy has altered in unique ways since giving birth, so much so even the very act of working out feels foreign.
“I find that my workouts are really different now because I gave birth,” she shares.
However, the results of exercising hasn't changed much, as she recently experienced a welcome surprise while trying on outfits she used to wear before becoming pregnant.
“I had been trying to fit into my jeans and it just wasn’t happening, then I stopped trying - and the other day, they fit," she smiles. "I’m not gonna lie, that felt pretty good.”
Anne recently made a return to the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she is promoting her new monster movie Colossal.
