A documentary charting the life of late singer Amy Winehouse is set to be among the highlights at this year's (15) Cannes Film Festival in France.
The film, titled Amy, is to debut at the glitzy international movie event in May (15) with a special midnight screening that will also feature a "musical accompaniment" provided by Winehouse's record label Universal.
Amy is set for release in the U.K. in July (15), three weeks before the fourth anniversary of her death in 2011 aged 27.
Other highlights at this year's festival include Natalie Portman's directorial debut A Tale of Love and Darkness, a new film version of Macbeth starring Michael Fassbender, Matthew McConaughey's latest offering The Sea of Trees, blockbuster Mad Max: Fury Road and Woody Allen's new movie Irrational Man.
The Cannes Film Festival runs from 13 May (15) until 24 May (15).
