An autobiographical TV comedy created by Maroon 5 star Adam Levine has been picked up by network bosses at NBC in America.
The This Love singer, who is a star of the channel's The Voice, signed a one-year first-look development deal with executives earlier this year (13), and it appears his contract is about to reap rewards.
Levine and his longtime roommate Gene Hong have come up with a sitcom based on their lives together. The two old friends previously came up with an idea for a sitcom based in a karaoke bar two years ago (11) but the project didn't make it to a pilot episode.
