Adam Levine is confident he'll ace his acting debut in hit series American Horror Story - because he's playing a version of himself.
The Maroon 5 rocker admits creator Ryan Murphy was happy to cast him in the second season of the creepy TV drama despite his lack of acting experience.
But Levine isn't too worried about appearing on the show, insisting it will be "easy" to play a character based on himself.
He tells EOnline.com, "I don't know how much I can divulge, because Ryan (Murphy) is very under wraps.
"It's going to be fun. I told (Murphy) I really didn't know what I was doing but he didn't seem to really care. So I'm just going to go and try to (act). I think I'm going to be kind of playing myself so hopefully it will be easy."
It was previously reported Levine, who also appears on The Voice, would play a "contemporary character" as one half of a couple called "The Lovers".
