American Horror Story star Ben Woolf has died in hospital while recovering from surgery to repair injuries he sustained after he was struck by a car in Los Angeles.
The 34-year-old actor's head was clipped by a car's wing mirror while he was crossing a street on 19 February (15), and he was admitted to a hospital in critical condition.
Woolf underwent surgery and was believed to be out of danger, but he died on Monday (23Feb15) after suffering a stroke.
Woolf was diagnosed with pituitary dwarfism when he was an infant. The condition caused his frame to shrink.
The actor was also a preschool teacher.
His film credits include Dead Kansas, Unlucky Charms and Woggie, but he'll best be remembered as Meep and Infantata in American Horror Story. He has been a semi-regular on the show since 2011.
