Singer Aaron Carter paid his respects to his late grandfather at a memorial service on Tuesday (08Jan13).
The pop star dedicated his performance in New York City musical The Fantasticks on 2 January (13) to his ailing grandfather Douglas Spaulding, who died soon after the tribute.
Carter subsequently revealed to his Twitter.com fans he had a new piece of body art inked in his grandfather's memory, tweeting, "Getting a Shakespeare soliloquy tattooed on my ribs for my grandpa... Headed to upstate New York."
And on Tuesday, he attended a funeral service for his beloved family member.
Carter revealed, "Just buried my grandfather today."
