What would you do? I want to know some. I want to know some Probably involves something really disgusting though. Male, male nudity. Is that disgusting? I mean from the other males perspective. Depends, yeah. Depends on the males. If it's one of us.
Hey guys, Jessica here at the Young Hollywood studio with an amazing rock band, Seether. So, I told you guys, I'm going to let you tell all the viewers the name of your album because it is a tongue twister. I got it wrong the other day on stage.
Did you? Are you call it the previous album. It is Holding On To Strings Better Left To Fray. Yes, better left to fray. So we came out with a song like country song and it just took a big gamble and it turned out to work out so. Um, ultimately, Come in. Um It's my room soon. Did you order tea? No, thank you. We have enough towels. Um, so yeah, it's it's um, we just, you know, it turned out to work out for us and we were all nervous when we put the album out to begin with but, um, so far things have been going well, you know. No, a country song seriously was just No, seriously. Come in. I mean, if you guys would seriously not order room service in the middle of an interview, it would be it would be a big help. All right?
We can't help it. We're in a hotel room. We need to calm down on the A-list demands. You guys didn't have any champagne in the caviar. And I mean you guys are currently on the Uproar Festival, which is like y'all are just throwing me tongue twisters all day, cuz I'm like Rock star. Rock star.
Um, we have to do some promos for that one day and it take us a long time just to get the first one down because the whole full man is just I think they eventually just got to cut it out. So, how is that going so far? I think it's good, you know, we just we just do our thing, we get 40 minutes a day so we get up we're done by 8:00 at night, we finished playing. So it's a real early night for us, about midnight. Dale and I are normally in a lot of trouble. Smashed. Well, yeah, I mean, it's probably bad in the sense that you drink twice as much as you normally would. Cuz you know if you're going to play at 10:00 at 9:00, you'll pour a drink and you know, maybe for the rest of the night, you know, have a have a couple more but you know, when you're playing at like 7:00 at 6:00, you pour that drink so it's like three extra hours. And you know, there's always something going on. He's really mathematical with them, but There's always something going on backstage or a party or an after-party or something, so you just you just end up like You just have to choose. Partying all night, you know, so it's it's it's fun.
Now do y'all do any pranks cuz like I know the pranks happen out on the road.
If we know them. This is one of those tours that don't really know anybody. So it's been it's been There's not there's not much of like a camaraderie thing going on. I mean we've hung out with a couple of the other bands but there's not there's not really the high-fiving in the hallway kind of tour, you know, so
So it's like high school so it's like basically We're not in the cool group. We're like the AV kids or something. So, y'all need to like go in there and like loosen it up a little bit, start throwing out the pranks.
Well then then you run the risk of finding out whether or not some of those other guys have senses of humor. What would you do? I want to know some. I want to know some. It probably involves something really disgusting though. I'm trying to think of what we could do. Male, male nudity. Is that disgusting? I mean from the other male's perspective. Depends, yeah. Depends on the males. If it's one of us. It depends on the male nudity to the proximity of of of yourself. And and the cleanliness of that male nudity. There's a whole bunch of factors that go into that.
Now, you're one of the only bands out there that actually like performs live which I think fans like genuinely love so much more.
There are out of direction. If you don't belong. A lot of bands these days I think fall back on on a on a on a pro tools or a backtrack system. And then they just get up there and pretend they do what they're supposed to be doing. And then it's for me that's that's cheating. It's obvious that we play our instruments cuz. Hey. We've had free cocktails. You guys have a second single tonight. There's one sort of positive song, you know. As opposed to a bunch of others that are not not necessarily negative but, you know, it's one that that's sort of embracing. It's almost happy. Almost happy. It is you have a happy song? I'm not going to say that again ever again but I'm going to say almost happy. You have cartoon smiley faces all around this which is just so awkward. Yeah, yeah, the videos should just be like bunnies and butterflies. That's how happy it is.
Well, thank you guys so much for stopping by and everybody check out their new album. Holding On To Strings Better Left To Fray y'all. Yes.
