Am I sparkling too? Well not as sparkling as you guys are. The boys of Sparkle. You guys were wonderful. The film was wonderful. I absolutely loved it. The film takes place in the sixties. Back then to get a woman's attention, you would throw rocks, maybe at her window.

Yeah, it's a sign of chivalry. You throw rocks at the window. If you crack it but don't crack it that much, that meant that she was really interested. So it got to be a perfect aim.

They didn't have Home Depot that night. My dad was good. You just try to, you know, hope that the mom or pops don't come to the window, you know,

Throwing up, was like the craziest thing you guys did to get a girl's attention.

Back days, you used to disguise as a friend so you know you can hear her talk about her her boyfriend, how much she didn't like him. You use that tool to get in.

You know, you start asking her like, you know, you want to go to the movies, all the stuff that the boyfriend didn't do, you know, he suspects by hanging with another girl. You go over there, you comfort her, you do stuff like that.

You're already scared that you might not talk to her. That's why I tell all the guys, if you say something nice to a girl and she don't give a good response, just keep your air thing in your ear so you can say, I wasn't talking to you.

What was like the biggest pinch me moment you guys had filming where you just said, this is, I can't believe I'm here, I can't believe I'm doing this.

I think for me is when Whitney. Yeah, when I seen Whitney Houston. I'm telling you, man. She show up. She showed up to the table.

That's the first time I I saw her. They made him known to me. No, first time I met her.

Table read was big. Yeah, it was big. Cuz I think she was equally as What do I expect? What do I, you know, so she had this humility to her that just kind of it was amazing because she's such an icon, but she came in so humble and she was wonderful in the film. It was great to see her. She was very good. Very, very good.

We dedicate this film to Miss Houston. She was definitely the captain of the ship. And we just honor her. Yeah. This is a blessing that we got a chance to work with her.
