Which is Invincible. Is that right?

It's Invincible but I spell it with an S.

Yeah, which is Invincible. You can't just spell something differently and not pronounce it differently.

Okay so it's Invincible. Invincible. I'm telling you I'm myself. Amazing talent as well. You play like 12 instruments, is that right? I read that you play 12.

Yeah, well that's exaggerated. I play guitar, piano and lap dulcimer, which is an American instrument you play on your lap. Basically if you hand me an instrument, I'll make it sound good.

Okay. So that's why they say 12 instruments. I mean, I played a little violin on one of my old recording. Did you do anything with that? I mean, you just did. Wow. So I could put that under my belt as an instrument.

Right, you could.

There you go. Mama, I can play something.

Technically if you recorded that, you could say that you played the red glass bowl.

Just saying, you can take it however you want, but I'm just saying that look how it works out for Cinderella.

Um, so yeah we know you through um, Love the Way You Lie. Got to stand them with me. I saw it because I love the way you lied. Hero. That was your song.

Yes. And obviously M&M and Rihanna blew it up. I didn't really tell anyone 'cause I know that a lot of times things don't happen. It was working out perfectly. Yeah. So I didn't even tell anyone until I saw it physically on the album credits.

Is that strange um when you when you make a beat like that, make a song and then you hear someone else singing it? 'Cause you sang it as well didn't you, obviously?

It is a little weird because yeah, I mean I didn't write it with Rihanna in mind. I did write it with M&M in mind. But uh I didn't know who was going to end up singing it. But she did a great job with it, so.

And then you get got to work with them anyway on I Need a Doctor.

I Need a Doctor coming. And then that was a cool experience because uh M&M invited me to uh Detroit to work on Detox. He had just recorded his verses and I was bawling 'cause it was amazing. And um then somebody said, we should get Lady Gaga on it. And M&M turned around and said, "No, we are not taking her voice off of this." So M&M actually fought for my vocals to stay on I Need a Doctor.

Really?

Which yeah, changed my life.

Who were your inspirations?

I listened to everything from like Riverdance soundtrack, because my mom was obsessed with like Celtic music,

Oh I love that music.

To Mariah Carey 'cause my sister had it. To Nirvana.

Wow.

To Smashing Pumpkins. I love the 90's.

And obviously you've got your first your first show at Lollapalooza, right? Is that correct?

Yes.

Very.

Nervous?

No. I'm just excited.

How can you be nervous if you're Invincible? I'm not Invincible, so I wouldn't know. But I'd like to be.

You could be Invincible.

How could I be Invincible? Could you give me a tip on how to be Invincible?

Yeah. It's all up here. You just uh It's yeah, it's mental. Even if you're even if somebody kills you physically, your soul can live on. Like you don't have to let it take you down. You know what I mean?

Okay. In fact then, from this interview, I'm not only a red rose bowl player, but I'm now Invincible.
