Rose McGowan Wants You To Suck It Up

You're thinking about giving back to mankind, not seeing muffin top over your juicy tracksuit. People are on the airplane. You're on it for two hours. Really? You need to bring your pillow with the uggs. Really?

I do the uggs, though, but they're comfy.

Hey, everyone. Nikki Novak here in the Young Hollywood studio with the gorgeous, provocative, and talented Rose McGowan.

Thank you. That's very kind of you. You're looking very girly today. I generally look pretty girly. It's actually probably what I look like. Maybe girly glam with a twist. I don't know what twist it is. Maybe the girly glam is the twist. But, yeah, people, um, I'll put it this way, makeup companies send me, like, dark red lipstick. They think you're like this--the characters that you play. I wear pink.

Well, speaking of makeup, your new movie, six hours of makeup. Here we get slick, slick back, and then put it into this netting. And when I first saw it, I thought, did she go bald for this movie?

I was asked if I would. I was like I was like, oh, hell no. That was a flat hell no. Like, no. So, wigs were crazy and heavy. The outfits were the worst. The first day, two people had to help me get up a staircase. So, if they had just pushed me, I would've been like this beetle that didn't get up. That was the ultimate joke. And Jason Momoa kills it. That's gonna no pun intended. I actually just realized how silly that sounded, but he's like it's funny cuz you see him and you think, how do regular men come out of the same factory from him? Cuz he's just like, do you find that attractive? Like, what kind of guys do you normally like?

I do like tall. I try not to date, like, high risk, like, people that are gonna wind up cheating on you. Like, actors, you know, this, this, like, why would you? Cuz I I wouldn't date me. No, basketball is probably. Just kidding.

What's the girliest kind of thing that you do in your own life? Were you a ballet dancer growing up?

I was. And that's how I actually use the hand movements of ballet for my hand movements in Conan to kill people. Because normally, um, my hands kind of flop around like this, and if I do any role where I'm strong, you know, say like, in the Grindhouse films or something, I have to really make a concerted effort to keep my wrists still. So, in this, I could just kind of use it, which worked really well. Girliest thing, I don't know, I'm a big baker. That I don't know if that's girly, cuz I think guys bake, too. They think I don't know if they admit it, that they bake.

You were at Comic-Con and you're talking about the movie and having to sit through all this hair and makeup. I think the interviewer said to you something about, were you wearing your Juicy clothes? And you said, I don't do terry. Rose McGowan does not do terry cloth. And neither should you, really. At the end of the day, you might. If you're thinking about giving back to mankind, not seeing muffin top over your Juicy tracksuit.

I I I suck it up. I got to tell you. I'll come to Blow Dry Bar, but I cannot stop wearing my uggs. You should. So, you have a ton, ton, ton of fans. This is from we're giving a shout out to these people from Charmed Daily. How would you describe your character, Marik, in three words?

Bold. Is badass one or two words?

One.

Good. For our purposes. Bold, badass, majestic. Ooh. Love majestic.

Masha 19 Maria, if I get it wrong, I'm so sorry, Masha. Do you miss your team from Charmed? My team? Your team? I guess they're talking about your costars and and the whole experience.

Weirdly enough, I do through Twitter. Well, because they live in the valley and I live in the city, and those two things never the twain shall meet. I remember when I first started Charmed and we were shooting initially in the valley and they were like, you're gonna move to the valley. I'm like, no. And I did not. But or you would be wearing uggs right now. I'd be wearing uggs and knockoff tracksuits. Which I do not.

And she's clearly not.

I will go for the discomfort, people. Go for the discomfort. You will look better. Prefer yourself in your makeup. Suck it up, people. Suck it up. If I can leave you with anything, suck it up.
