I'm here at the Young Hollywood Studio with Rev Theory. We got somebody double-fisting already. Now if you remember, we caught up with Rev Theory like what, two years ago at Phil Maloof's house. What was it like working with the legendary Phil Maloof? I mean he's not known for parties, he's not known for girls.

It sucks.

Yeah, I can imagine. It's like, I mean every time they tell us we have to come to one of these events we're like, ugh, tough job. What's happened in the last two years? You guys have come a long way.

Oh man, we uh, we released our first record on Interscope two years ago and uh toured extensively through it. And uh got a second record and now uh we're in the process of recording that record right now.

So how many nights of double-fisting have you had in these last two years? That's what I want to know.

Too many that I can't remember. I lost count a long time ago. Every night. Pretty much. Pretty much.

I'm sure there's been craziness over the last few years. Any tour stories? Any what's what's the craziest thing you can remember that's happened?

So, man, the craziest I mean the Vegas the Vegas nights are always memorable yeah. Vegas at the Palms probably. That that Maloof night at Phil's place was pretty sick too. Actually that that night our tour manager uh they caught him in the garage of Phil's house with a with a girl cuddled up.

Is your tour manager here?

No he's not.

I was gonna say we gotta find him.

No but they tried they everybody was kicked out of the house and security was uh was going through the house like going through the whole house and they caught him in the garage with a girl.

Wow. And what happened after that?

Phil let him stay. I was just kidding.

Let's talk about the state of rock and roll now. You guys are heavy into it. Is it good right now? It has its ups and downs. Where do we stand?

Well actually right now is uh is a really really good time for rock and roll. I mean you have uh Stone Temple Pilots just released a new record, um Soundgarden is reuniting this year, um Pearl Jam has been out, uh Alice in Chains put out a new record. So right now the state of rock and roll is is probably at its peak so we're really excited to put out a new record in the next couple months.

So what's in the glass though? What do you mix that with?

Uh vodka and Vitamin Water Zero. It's a good mix. Black Star is the best beer in the world. By the way. That's fine.

Let's grab a drink and then we're gonna go and play. Come with us to the bar. We wanna try his concoction that he's created. All right so here we are. We're going through, we're going to the bar. Ricky has created a concoction. What are we gonna call it?

We're gonna call it The Ricky-lixinator.

The Ricky-lixinator. It's a minty disaster. What flavor of Vitamin Water Zero do you want? Orange. She can pick. You gonna pick you.

Ricky-lixinator, yeah. That's trademarked by the way. Now we need a little vodka to top it off. And ice. We need ice. Here we go. Now we got the vodka. Oh whoa. Holy cow. Damn. Wow. That was It's actually not that bad. Oh my God. Wow, that was It's actually, it's actually pretty good.

It's designed to make you horny, so give it a couple minutes.

Where's Phil? Why is he like hiding? Are we gonna Phil, when do you get in here? So Black Star, Vitamin Water Zero and vodka. God bless us. Good. Good, really good. All right we're gonna do a little performance. We're gonna come right back. Rev Theory performance.
