Rachel, do you remember hanging out with us on backstage diaries?

Rachel Platten

Oh my God. Yes. That was so long ago. Yes. And I wrote Fight song about those feelings about the kind of feeling I was having that I should give up because it was impossible, but then this I don't know, I'm very stubborn and this resilience and this thing inside me that wouldn't let me quit. I don't know, I don't think that that's changed that much. I'm still very much a fighter. And when I get knocked down, I kind of refuse to give up on myself.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, rock and broken glass talk to us about that song.

Rachel Platten

Broken glass is about breaking the glass ceiling. Okay. And it's for women. It's also for amazing men who support us. But the song, I wrote it last year, but it's taken on new meaning to me in the past month. With all these strong bad ass women who are not being afraid to speak their truth and speak their mind and and point out accusers and that's a terrifying thing. But, if it's a tough thing right now. Lately when I sing it, I've been stripping it down and doing it acoustic and feeling the words a lot more.

Young Hollywood

You always have songs that resonate with like the meaning put it like the really good stuff about the world, right? At the time.

Young Hollywood

She rocked a venue in LA. Killed it. So hot.

Rachel Platten

It was a really, really tiny little venue. I wanted to honor like my past in 10 years of touring in the van, so.

Young Hollywood

I was in the I was out in the line like Rachel, is here. Did you not get to come? I didn't get in. I feel bad. Rachel, you're amazing. Thank you. Bye, Rachel. Bye. Bye. Bye.
