So we're here for the Fame Ball and you're going to be performing here at the Wiltern in LA. How excited are you for tonight? Am I gushing?

You are. I have been working very hard on this show conceptually and visually. It's a series of fashion and art installations and music and dance.

Well, I have to say that I saw you at the Star magazine event and you were amazing.

That show was like an old boyfriend that I don't like anymore. This show is just nothing really like what we're going to do tonight. It was my club show.

I'm Oliver Trevena, here at the Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica, California with the wonderful forever the sickest kids. Where did the name actually come from? Serious note, not big flu. Forever the Sickest Kids: Yes, uh we were all former friends in high school and we formed a wakeboarding team and uh one of our members, his dad named their family boat that we practiced behind, forever the sickest boat. The name just kind of stuck and it's uh it became our band name a couple years ago and it's been something that kids really cannot get out of their heads. It's something different.

Tell me a crazy crazy tour story. Forever the Sickest Kids: We got sponsored by Harley Davidson motorcycles. Um but they required us to attach a trailer hitch and pull a flat trailer with six Harley Davidsons across country. Apparently, our merch trailer wasn't made to have a trailer hitch attached to it and the weight of the six motorcycles was too much. As we're going through Minnesota, the motorcycle trailer actually detached from the back of the bus, causing a multi-car pile up.

Hi, I'm Mika and you're watching Young Hollywood and you are backstage at my show at the Palladium on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. I mean the thing about my gigs, right? is that they're not just gigs, they're not just concerts, they're kind of theatrical shows as well. So to kind of make this happen, we use different things like we have puppet makers that we work with in the UK and uh in in my suitcase, I've got this little puppet of a teapot and my my miniature teapot that I use as my kind of servant gets annoyed with me and she pulls me off stage and then on walks on a giant teapot holding a marionette holding a marionette of me. This is some of the set that we are drying. And although these are like very simple balls, they're all covered in UV paint. So when you take this little black light and you shine it on it, the UV paint shines through.

All or nothing is the reason it's called that is because I'm like, okay, okay, you have one chance to to to put an album out in America. Do a good job.

Right. Now, since we saw you last, you know, we talked to you right when down came out and it was it was climbing the charts but it's topped the charts. I mean, you are everywhere. How do you feel about everything?

Unbelievable. This has been a dream come true for me. I've thoroughly enjoyed my journey here in America. I really can't tell you how much I've enjoyed it.

Hey Young Hollywood, it's Michelle Marie spending this beautiful day in Malibu with the All-American Rejects. Is this not like the best day to have a video shoot?

It doesn't suck to be the All-American Rejects today, unless you're watching the rest of the video shoot. We have to submerge our bodies in 50 degree water. Yes.

Tell us the concept behind today. What do you guys have going on with the video?

It's like one day with this love story, but it ends in this uh sort of surreal way where it's like, you know, it ends because it has to as opposed to, you know, something bad happens. And at the end of it, we get washed sort of baptized in this uh in the fact that it's a beautiful day and tomorrow is a beautiful day. Even if you fall, you can still get back up.

drink all day. Play all night. Let's get it popping. All right, this is the place guys. Walk on in. Let's go up to the studio. At first glance, you may say, oh, where's all the knobs? Where's all the buttons and the sliders and the and the things? Everything that's in a laptop is your whole studio. Keyboard right here. It's a USB powered. We're taking on the road. This is what we play with live. We're going to create a uh sound right in front of your very own.
