Young Hollywood

What's up, guys? Ruba here. I am in the Young Hollywood studios with Raven-Symoné. And Isaac Brown from the hit Disney Channel show Raven's Home. And I love your hair. Getting it out of the way now because I’m gonna stare at it half the time because I’m jealous that I don’t have mine, so I'm done. Raven-Symoné: You’re so cute. You're so cute. We can share. You can have it on the weekend. Technically, you really can share with mine. So, whenever you need it, ten years later.

Young Hollywood

Holy freaking smoke. Did you ever imagine Raven’s Home to... Raven-Symoné: I imagined me working with Annelise again in my life in some capacity. I never imagined kids. Never imagined it would be Raven Baxter again. But it’s a great, um, it’s a great surprise. And I wouldn't have given it up for anything. So thank you.

Young Hollywood

So, take us back. First day on set. What was going through you guys' head? You first.

Isaac Brown

Oh man. First day on set, man. I was like, I was one of those guys who was like, okay, you know what? This isn’t gonna be that hard, you know. Just go in here and do our best. I got on set and did not know a thing.

Young Hollywood

How so? What do you mean?

Isaac Brown

Like, I didn’t know where to stand and how to move correctly. Raven-Symoné: That’s you are. I know, right. And I was so used to having a microphone that I didn’t know like you had to project and now it’s getting on everyone’s nerves and I'm everywhere and going and projecting. They're like, excuse me, you need to just bring it down a notch. No, he was like, he was like Denzel beforehand, doing movies and really being a serious actor and knowing that world and then he had to switch it over to like Martin world. And become like, you know. And it’s it’s it was a fun journey to see all of them go from single camera acting into four camera acting. It’s totally different.

Young Hollywood

Now you’ve been doing this like while you were like in the womb. Like legit. So, what kind of advice did you give them? Especially like Isaac? Raven-Symoné: Yeah, don’t suck.

Isaac Brown

Uh, that’s she basically said every take. It’s pretty much every take. Don’t suck today. Please. You made it, boo. Congratulations. Raven-Symoné: every one time we finished the take. She was like, now that was great. All you have to do again is do it over and make sure it’s actually watching. Stop. She did it. She did it. Yeah, you know what you did. I don’t know if you remember or not, but

Isaac Brown

He’s like, I’m vaguely remember. I’m crying right now. I’m gonna call you out. I’m gonna call you mama after this. I love that though. But it made you Raven-Symoné: Yeah, it didn’t make me better.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. So, so considering the fact that both of you guys both have visions on the show, how did you guys like bond with that aspect of the show? Raven-Symoné: He came in and I asked him, do you have your vision face down? He was like, yeah, he did. I was like, oh, yeah, you did it. Okay. I don’t have to help you with that. Never mind. I’m gonna go sit down. But his vision face was on point and no one picked you up for that. No one questioned you. Did you notice that?

Isaac Brown

No.

Young Hollywood

So nobody gave you like pointers on how to do the vision face?

Isaac Brown

No. The only thing I got from Vantz, our cameraman was to not blink and stay stay still, fool. Raven-Symoné: I love him. And you know, we do a lot of notes on set cuz we want things to be right and in the right vein. And he did so well in his first vision face. I’m like, yes, this is just fantastic. He’s a beast.

Young Hollywood

You know what I heard? I heard that when you become a Disney Channel star, they give you free Disneyland passes. Is that like a thing? Raven-Symoné: Oh, that’s a thing.

Young Hollywood

Is that a Can you reveal? Raven-Symoné: You have to call and make an appointment and make sure everything's at the right time. But you, you know, yeah, you get to go there. Um, but I don’t think I’ve ever just gone to go. I’ve always done something for promos or done something for them because you don’t really use a

Young Hollywood

So they don’t just give you like a golden pass like this is Raven-Symoné: Oh, no. We ain’t got no go to We ain’t got no go to tickets. Nobody got no golden ticket to Disney World or Disneyland. No way. You might get a food voucher though.

Young Hollywood

Yay. I’m thrilled to hear that. I love it. You try to get the free tickets. It’s all about the food vouchers. Is there free food? That’s all I want to know. I’m there. Raven-Symoné: Yeah. I’m I’m all about it.

Young Hollywood

I just wanna know, what is like one thing that you learned from Miss Raven-Symoné?

Isaac Brown

One thing I learned. Well, when to fold them, when to hold them. Raven-Symoné: I can’t stand you. I can’t stand you.

Young Hollywood

Is that exactly what she said? When to fold them, when to hold them.

Isaac Brown

No, it’s not what she said, but I remember, I remember my grandfather's favorite song. So, I can’t stand you. Um, really she taught me in real life scenarios just to always be humble, you know, carry yourself very humbly. But, um, on set, she taught me everything about multi-cam that I know up to now. You know.

Young Hollywood

Congrats again on the ratings, the show. You guys are killing it. I can legit talk to you guys all day. Raven-Symoné: We can do it. Come on, come to the set. We’ll have fun.
