Well, let's bring some dance moves home. Did did the did the drop in the coffee? All right. Use the arms. So imagine you're holding a cup of coffee. Coffee. You're going to drop the coffee. Let me get a little distance so I don't hit you. Okay. Three-time Indy 500 winner. Dancing With the Stars Champ, Helio Castroneves. Welcome to the Young Hollywood Studio. Hélio Castroneves: Well, thank you very much and thank great to see you again. You're looking fantastic after you're having a little guy. That's good job. Well done. You know, we're going to be talking about kids now, you know. It's A little guy. That's good. The last time we talked all about your daughter. Yeah. It is so much fun. Let me tell you, it's so much fun. And now, I'm actually interacting a little more with my daughter. We're able to discuss a little bit of things. The other day, we're coming back from school and she's like, "Dad, I'm not going to marry you anymore." I'm like, "Whoa, whoa, okay, okay." And you know at first the reaction you're like, "I'm not going to marry you anymore." And then like, oh I said, "I need a boy to marry to get married." I said, "All right. Okay. Now we're getting a little bit deep here, you know. I need a boy to get married." I said, "All right, so the only thing I want to talk to you about that, Nicolala is the boy needs to be, you know, very nice, especially with your dad, with your mom, to you, you know. So do me a favor. Before you choose the boy, can I meet him first?" "Okay, Dad." I said, "Yes, yes, I got that. I got it. I hope she writes it down." So, Remember that. I got on tape. I got on video. Cuz it was on his iPhone. It was so much fun.

So now that you're becoming more involved in her personally, how is it affecting you professionally? I know obviously it just takes over your everyday. But how is it affecting your job now? Hélio Castroneves: You know, it people ask me, especially when I had my my uh my little girl, uh is it going to especially racing because it's such a dangerous sport. People like, "Oh, you're going to slow down." To be honest, as soon as you put the helmet on, actually, as soon as you're in the race track, you forget about it. You know, you're not thinking about, "Oh my God, what's going to happen?" So, in fact, now it's so much fun because when she comes to the race, she became friends with other drivers' daughter or or or sons. You know, so it's becoming like a playground. So now it's uh it's a big event. When we go into a race, she's like, "Let's go to racing to have good time." And uh I'm glad she's she's doing that. And if she wants to be the next Danica Patrick? No, no, no, no. I actually talked to Danica about that. I said, "Danica, if that happens, you're going to come and talk to teach her. I'm not going to be part of this." But uh it's funny because uh I'm glad that it sounds like she's not going to pursue her career in racing because I know how tough it is, how difficult and dangerous as well. So, I don't think I would have the heart to uh to hold on. Yeah.

Well, normally I see you at the Long Beach Grand Prix. Every season we talk racing, we dance, as I mentioned before. Dancing With the Stars champion right here. Everyone, everyone. I mean, Hélio Castroneves: That's right. Yes. The hips don't lie as they say. That's right. That's right. Well, I'm supporting my boy. I I rehearsed with your boy.

Young Hollywood

Well, actually, I saw it. I couldn't believe it. Hélio Castroneves: Yeah. Did you? I did see it on the, I think on the on the social media. And I was like, oh yeah. "Look at my boy." He did me. It was good.

Young Hollywood

So what is it about drivers and dancing? Hélio Castroneves: I think it's it's actually uh uh uh true. You got to be coordinated. You know, because when you're breaking, you're accelerating, you're breaking, you're turning, downshift, everything needs to be in sync. Yeah. Very similar to to dancing. Obviously, everything we do it's over 230 miles an hour, so they have to be in split of second. Right. But again, I think Sharna also did a phenomenal job to uh find the strength of James. And I I'm actually surprised to be honest.

Young Hollywood

So what advice did you pass on to him? Hélio Castroneves: I did many. You know, one of the advice I did many. I like

Young Hollywood

Besides ice your feet every night. Hélio Castroneves: Yeah yeah yeah. Yeah, that too. I did tell him, listen to your partner. Cuz sometimes she's going to push you to the limit and you're going to say, "No, I cannot do it." Just trust her. Um So let the woman wear the pants. They definitely. Uh the woman in my house is the same way too. But anyway. Uh I don't know why I said that. But it's true.

Young Hollywood

Cuz we're opening up here. This is the couch. Hélio Castroneves: Yeah, yeah, exactly. We're feeling comfortable right now. So

Young Hollywood

Your personal space, too. Hélio Castroneves: But that's true. Um uh what else I told him. If you make a mistake, don't change your face face expression. Cuz nobody knows your routine. Only you. Exactly.

Young Hollywood

Well, let's bring some dance moves home. Every time we hang, we dance. We've uh done figure eights. Hélio Castroneves: Figure eights. See, you know, for the figure eight. Yes, we've done dips. We've done dips. Okay. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Did it did uh the drop in the coffee? Is that another term for dip? Hélio Castroneves: No, that's something that Juliane taught me so that I can actually uh make a move and understanding what to do. So uh it was like kind of our code for do that move.

Young Hollywood

Okay, so let's drop the coffee. Hélio Castroneves: All right, let's drop the coffee. All right. So that's that's uh a follow with the figure eight. So you do the figure eight. Okay. Good job. And then use the arm. So imagine you're holding a cup of coffee. And what you're going to do, you're going to you're going to drop the coffee. You know, but obviously, let me get a little distance so I don't hit you. So you're going to go pam. Okay. See? Oh, yes. You're a little more classy with the with the arm like this. I like that. All right, so the figure eight. So the figure eight. One, two, bam. There we go. And then so the dip in. So figure eight. One, two, three, spin. Bam. My girl. Woo. Good job. My guy. We should be on Dancing With the Stars again, huh? You and I as a couple. I like that. You think that'll work? We're going to be great partners. Watch out. We're coming back. I'm coming for the first time.
