I'm Oliver Trena here at the Young Hollywood Studio with this handsome young man. David Arquette, how are you?

Oh. Thank you, Oliver.

You're welcome. Well deserved. I think that compliment. Deserved it. But your hands, you're a young handsome man.

I'm not sure about the young part. But let's just go with it. Let's just go with it. I'm young at heart.

Young, that's all that matters. You've got to work with so many people, who haven't you worked with that you'd like to work with?

Well, Darren Anowski, just, you know, David Fincher, like amazing directors, so I really want to work with. I got to work with Marlon Brando once. That was a where to go from there.

You should have thrown off your shoes and said, "I quit!" That's it. There's absolutely, there's no going anywhere, is there?

Yeah, it was a comedy, and it was a kind of weird movie, but he had this one part where I give him this new truck. I'm like a car salesman. And he's really funny, but his sense of humor is all like old school, like Three Stooges and the Marx Brothers. So he's like, "Listen, what if the kid comes up and he gets on his hands and knees, and I step on his back to give him the truck." And the director was like, "No, no," because, you know, he was like 300 lbs at that point. And I was like, "Yeah! Come on!" Marlon Brando stepping on my back. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, but they didn't let us do it.

Shame. Well, you're still here to tell the tale. We might not be if he did. So let's look at the positive aspect. Marlon Brando didn't walk on your back. You have to be that way, right? You've got me on a positive day. Horror movies, how do you think they've changed? Do you think they've got scarier with all the new technology and stuff or is it taking it away a little bit?

Well, you know, I, I love like old scary films where they kind of alluded to certain things, but, you know, the audience is growing, there's stuff for everybody. Um, Scream, then now Scream 4.

Yeah. No! You should have seen the look on your face.

15 years it's been. It's really spanned my met my wife on the first one and I lost both my parents during the course of the next two, and and had a baby by the fourth one, so pretty amazing.

Wait to see what happens, do you know in this one then?

Yeah, this one. Oh, yeah. Lots of trouble.

Yeah. 15 years, you must have been about 12 in the first one then.

Oh, man, you'd think. Just say yes. Just say yes. It's Hollywood. Are you forgetting where we are?

I know, see, but I find it hard to lie. I don't like lying and I think there's a lot of lying in Hollywood.

We'll just say you're 25 plus tax then. There you go. And no one knows what state tax you're talking about. It's fine. I'm old and I like it.

Okay. Um, and how was it there are a few younger, not just slightly younger, characters on the on the new one. How's it gone? There's a bunch of wriggling around on this new set.

Yeah. Does that mean that I'm not gonna live as long as these two?

No. Maybe. Of course not. Just uh, just be careful. Oh my God, did you hear that? I'm gonna be next. I'm also acting in a film called The Cottage, where I play a villain.

Okay. That's pretty creepy. Bring out the bad side. Yeah. Fine then. Yeah. Well, I hope the Scream goes amazing because then there's hopefully gonna be a sequels to it. Yeah. Trilogy, right?

That'd be a fun time. I don't know if I'll be a part of it, but I love watching them. I'm always trying to kill him.
