I grew up so much after I had my son, and it made me finally sort of take life a little bit more seriously and in turn, my career.

Yeah.

And finally say, you know, this actually does matter.

And whatever legacy I leave for my child starts now.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for having me.

And I'm so excited to be seeing even more of you in Z, The Beginning of Everything. So exciting. I have to say, I watched and loved it.

Oh, good.

Absolutely loved it. You're inspiring me today, but Zelda's also really tempting me to chop my hair a bit more.

I cut my hair after the show. It was a wig in the show, and I loved the length so much that afterwards I just cut it off.

Has the role in any way maybe taught you something that's surprised you?

I think that the role really made me think about certain topics that I hadn't thought about in a long time. Like, for instance, for example, fame.

Yeah.

I think something that's really interesting about what happened with F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda. They were so famous overnight. Instantly like, this incredible amount of fame. At a time when they kind of tabloids were just starting, and that kind of fame was very new to our country.

Right.

And she's one of the first people who's like famous for just being somebody's wife.

Right.

Even though in her own right, she's incredibly talented, most of that writing, most of that writing was taken by him and printed under his name. So, she was really known for just being his wife, and I think what that did to their marriage and their lives and what that creates um that sort of need and hunger for the rest of their lives for chasing fame.

Right.

Um that was very interesting. And so, analyzing that and getting to think about that helped me to sort of frame celebrity and fame.

Interesting.

In a healthier way.

Yeah.

Absolutely.

Well, we can't wait to see more of Zelda. I'm so excited. And you've been able to play so many amazing characters. I feel like in a lot of different characters. If you could choose three characters to hang out with for a day, which three would you choose?

Oh, that's funny. I think I would choose this could be really fun. I would I would choose Zelda cuz Okay. She was just fun and fascinating. I would probably also choose Wednesday, because I personally find Wednesday incredibly entertaining.

Yeah.

And then the third one, hmm. I don't know.

Well, Wednesday and Zelda already. Those are interesting together.

Yeah, interesting match, yeah.

You yourself, Wednesday, and Zelda. That would be fun.

It's a fun dinner party.

Yeah, that would be really fun. Well, I like how you were saying too that that Zelda is very much you because you're a producer on the show, and this is a passion project for you, right?

Yes, this is my baby.

Yeah.

And are you so excited to see how it looks?

I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so proud of it. You know, cuz these things so rarely work out. You know, you have a book, you get the option, who knows. They rarely come to fruition. And to to have a full season in the can of this TV show is amazing to me and mind-blowing. I still kind of can't believe it.

So cool. It's going to be awesome. And also, we were talking a little bit about fashion in the movie, but in life, you're so fashionable.

I love your fashion sense. Your high waisted pants are on point. You might not be able, like you were saying, you might not be able to sit in them, but they're really cute.

Okay.

It's really cute. This. Um, and whether you're at New York Fashion Week, I've seen some pictures of you there, or at award shows, or even just on set hanging out, what would be like your go-to looks?

I like very mod fashion.

Okay. So, what's your definition of mod?

Mod for me is like Twiggy, kind of color blocking, and short things, that sort of a shifty A-line. I like things that are sleek. And maybe a little future-ish. But then at the same time, I like a lot of lace. So, I don't know. It's a weird thing.

Okay. So, depends on the mood, I guess.

But mod is sort of my go-to, cuz I think it also works on small women.

Right.

I don't like saying short. I like saying small.

Petite.

Petite, okay.

Petite.

Petite's great. I told my husband that when we were first dating, he called me short, and I was like, mm-mm. Tiny, petite. Excuse me. Hold up. I'm not short.

Okay. So, when you're not working, what do you like to do for fun and enjoyment? I follow your Instagram.

Oh, you do?

You're a bit of a health guru. You I feel like you're always posting healthy things or healthy snacks.

I feel like I post them and say like, I'm trying really hard because I have such a hard time with health.

You're trying.

Yeah.

Um, you know, I have a two-year-old. And when I'm not working, I really spend all my time with him and my husband. It's very low-key these days.

That's Does having a kid make you think about um different roles, or does it make you approach roles in a different way?

I grew up so much after I had my son, and it made me finally sort of take life a little bit more seriously and in turn, my career.

And finally say, you know, this actually does matter.

Right.

And whatever legacy I leave for my child starts now, and it it matters. And I want to be an example to him to not like screw off all the time and just hope things work out. So, So, yeah.

I do post a lot about Soul Cycle. I have a problem. A bit of an addiction.

Yes.

It's pretty crazy.

Yeah, it's so fun. I love it so much. It's It's such a good workout. It's great mentally, too.

Yeah, it's the only thing I really do away from my child where I'm not working. So, if you're going to do a workout, it's Soul Cycle.
