Young Hollywood

It's been a long running joke today that I don't touch one horse the whole movie. So Are you kind of disappointed about that? I mean like it stings a little right now, but I think that at some point How can we help you get over this? Can we get a horse in here anyone? I don't know how we did it. We fit all the stars of a cowgirls story on the couch today. Hey guys!

Bailee Madison

Hi!

Young Hollywood

I heard someone say that this is their favorite studio already.

Bailee Madison

Well, it's mine. I've like almost grown up on this sofa.

Young Hollywood

Yes. It's amazing. You guys are family by now. It's so great to come back. Well, it's good to have you back. Let's talk about this movie uh which Bailey uh you produced as well, right? So kind of taking the reins. First of all. I know I teed that one up for you. Well, first of all, let's talk about the story. What what is what is going on, what's the central plot here?

Chloe Lukasiak

Is it my turn?

Young Hollywood

It's right. Take it away, Chloe.

Chloe Lukasiak

Okay. Good. Um a cowgirls story centers on uh my character Dusty Rhodes. She is new to town. She decides to move with her father to her grandpa's house played by the amazing Pat Boone. Um and both of her parents were actually deployed overseas. They fight for our country. And uh she's very new to school. She isn't welcomed in the best way. And she's also taken back about how none of the kids know that there's actually a war going on. So, it's a story about her taking matters into her own hands, starting a question and drill team, which is something that she loves to do. And uh by doing so, she brings together a group of unlikely friends and it's about love and finding love and being true to yourself and uh even in the darkest times finding light.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. That's a nice summary. I feel like Well, first of all, I had my breath and you just kept going.

Chloe Lukasiak

Yeah. It was It was great. This took a lot of practice today.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. Also pretty impressive uh you all's horse skills. So I got to say. I don't like a horse. It's such a It's such a It's been a long running joke today that I don't touch one horse the whole movie.

Chloe Lukasiak

Are you kind of disappointed about that? I mean like it stings a little right now, but I think that

Young Hollywood

Can we get a horse in here? Anyone? We do. What? Oh my god. Just a big. Bring on the horse, please. Chloe, you actually, aren't you allergic to horses?

Chloe Lukasiak

Yep.

Bailee Madison

Chloe failed to tell me that. And I am too, which is the crazy thing. Can we talk about this? So we bonded over our allergies on set basically.

Young Hollywood

How'd you get through those scenes then?

Chloe Lukasiak

Oh I just those meds.

Bailee Madison

She was really medicated the entire basically.

Chloe Lukasiak

No, every morning I just took allergy medicine and honestly it wasn't that bad, as long as it didn't touch me. You're fine.

Bailee Madison

One day you had like a little bit and that's when I found out, it was halfway through production. She's like I was like, are you good? I was like, no.

Chloe Lukasiak

Well it wasn't bad until that day. So I didn't need to hide.

Young Hollywood

I didn't even notice. I'm learning about this now. Right now. Right now.

Bailee Madison

Well, she's an actor. That's why.

Chloe Lukasiak

That's what I do, guys.

Young Hollywood

She acted away her allergies.

Bailee Madison

Exactly.

Young Hollywood

But how did you guys grow up around horses or was this all new to you?

Chloe Lukasiak

I actually, I took lessons whenever I was five. And then that's when I discovered I was allergic so I stopped. So I stopped taking them. Until I signed up for this movie.

Bailee Madison

Right. And then she called me and she's like, me and the horses are so awesome together. Like, I'll be great. I was like, perfect. That was the one scene where I'm like, wooden go. I was like, okay.

Young Hollywood

I have a question for the ladies because both of you are are diving into things outside of just acting and performing. Um let's talk about the books that you have.

Bailee Madison

I know. We're book buddies. It's a thing. It's a thing. We're book buddies.

Young Hollywood

Do you want to go first? Go first about your book. I'm excited.

Chloe Lukasiak

Oh, thank you. I'm excited about yours. I just want to hear all you guys.

Young Hollywood

Do I get a copy of it?

Chloe Lukasiak

Yes. I think so, yeah. After I complimented your wrestling skills, you think? Of course. You guys will all get a book. Get a book, yeah. Um I mean, I've always loved reading and writing and so to do a book just seemed so natural for me and I wanted to kind of give everyone a behind the scenes glimpse into my life like more so. Like I talk about everything and anything and I a lot of stuff people don't really know about me that I wouldn't really be opening. I don't know it's just like stuff that I don't think I'd be comfortable sharing with people like face to face. So I can like like let me write this. Um but I don't know, I just it's an inspiration book and an invite and advice book. I really just talk about like how to deal with stress, how I get through bad days. I have this account ritual that I've done with some of my best friends since I was seven I think. And I talk about that and how like how how to study and de-stress for a test or something like that. And I just in any way I can, I'm just trying to like help teenagers because I know what they're going through 'cause I'm a teenager.

Young Hollywood

Congratulations. And then Bailey. Uh so, tell me more about yours.

Bailee Madison

Well, her book is is is you know, obviously about your life and everything, which is so exciting. I'm like excited to read it. Um my book is a young adult fiction YA. Uh it's with our friends over at Harper Collins. Uh I co-wrote it with a really good friend of mine, an author Stephanie Miller. Uh it's a psychological thriller which hasn't been done for the teenage aspect yet. So we're hoping to get that mark. Um but it centers on a girl named Peyton and it picks up a year after her sister has disappeared and it's dealing with how others are dealing with it yet how she is still struggling. And uh it's about her internal struggle and trying to figure out who she is and who she wants to be, what society wants her to be. And so through all of this, she is realizing that she isn't remembering what's going on with her sister or what happened. And uh two other girls end up missing. And she takes it upon herself to try and go and find her sister. And find who's doing this and uh she winds up in kind of a nightmare, one that she wants to solve, and one that she wants to wake up from.

Young Hollywood

I just heard this and that sounds so impressive. Oh, wow.

Bailee Madison

It comes out in January. And it's available for pre-order.

Young Hollywood

That's what I was gonna ask.

Bailee Madison

You guys can get it at Barnes and Noble. I'm so excited. And I actually have an announcement coming out with the author right now. We're gonna do some really fun stuff uh for the fans and we want to make it as connected as possible. It's a new chapter of my life, pun intended. Uh I'm really I'm really excited.

Young Hollywood

How long have you been waiting for this? To say it.

Bailee Madison

To say it. It's been like almost like a year and a half. A new chapter in my life. Oh, that? Yeah. I honestly said it and didn't realize it and then I was like, I should I should just go with it. Just go. If I'm with it I should Just go. Just go for it. Oh, Queen of puns. Someone said it earlier today. That was me. I'm also the King of puns. So, thank you. Guys, this was great. I feel like we've we've worked out everything we needed to work out. We need a big group hug just to just to cap off the therapy session, right? This was good. So seeing you guys.
