Young Hollywood

What's up, guys? Nicole Koch for Young Hollywood hanging out with me, Miss Rosanna Pansino from YouTube's Nerdy Nummies. How are you?

Rosanna Pansino

Thanks for having me today. This is so fun.

Young Hollywood

Isn't this awesome? I've never hung out in pool floaties before. This is my first time.

Rosanna Pansino

You'll always remember us now anytime you sit in a pool and you're like, this is cool. Yep, I would use the chunky floatie. Look at her. She's having a blast.

Young Hollywood

So, we want to get to know you a little bit better. So we're going to play a game called this or that and I'm going to name off two options and you just choose this or that. So this this is you're going to choose between um which one was your favorite concoction that you've made? Your Monsters Inc, yellow snow cones or Wonder Woman cookies?

Rosanna Pansino

Ooh, I'd say Wonder Woman cookies.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. Okay, so the most essential ingredient for your baking, sugar or butter?

Rosanna Pansino

These are two basics, two foundations, but for me I would keep butter.

Young Hollywood

Okay, we're keeping butter.

Rosanna Pansino

Yes. I'm sorry. This is these are like for me that's a deep question. That is a

Young Hollywood

I know. I thought so.

Rosanna Pansino

To my core.

Young Hollywood

We wanted to challenge you a little bit. Okay, your go-to treat to give as a gift, cake or cupcakes?

Rosanna Pansino

Cupcakes. Cuz they're cute and teeny and they're easy to move around, right? They're bite-size. So, if you're going to a party, definitely cupcakes because they're bite-size. A little bit easier. You don't even need a fork.

Young Hollywood

Exactly. You can just hand them out. That is true. That is true. And then the final question. This is a big question, I think, for you. Flavor preference: chocolate or vanilla?

Rosanna Pansino

Lately, chocolate.

Young Hollywood

Oh, see? I'm chocolate always. Everything chocolate. Yeah. 24/7. I could eat chocolate in any form. Really into brownies right now. I can't get enough of them. So, Nerdy Nummies, cutest name ever. By the way, how did you come up with that? I'm dying to know.

Rosanna Pansino

I really like alliterations when uh words match each other. And it was maybe going to be geeky goodies.

Young Hollywood

Ooh, I like that too.

Rosanna Pansino

But I decided to go for nerdy nummies because in high school, a lot of people called me a dork and a nerd, specifically a nerd. So, I wanted to pay some tribute to the word and empower it and show it some love and show that you know, nerdy can be a good thing.

Young Hollywood

I was going to say, nerd's a cool word to me. I like it.

Rosanna Pansino

Thank you. I think geek has become more chic over the years. Things that I love growing up like comic books and uh video games are now much more mainstream. I feel like Neil DeGrasse Tyson is like everybody's favorite astrophysicist and I'm like, yes. Things are changing and it's it's amazing.

Young Hollywood

So, also, congratulations because you have something really cool coming out.

Rosanna Pansino

I am so excited. I love baking but I never thought I would be able to make a baking line. Yeah. And I wanted to make really funky stuff that did not exist in the baking world. Things that I wish that existed like this. Guys, please tell me you know what this is.

Young Hollywood

I know exactly what it is.

Rosanna Pansino

I brought it with me. So, this is a poo mold. And I told Wilton, we're gonna make it. We're gonna make a poo mold because my sister loves the little poo emojis.

Young Hollywood

I love it.

Rosanna Pansino

And she loves unicorns. So, I thought you can bake little cakes in here that are rainbow cakes or fun-fetti cakes.

Young Hollywood

Oh, that's perfect.

Rosanna Pansino

And it will be a unicorn poop cake.

Young Hollywood

That is genius.

Rosanna Pansino

These don't exist this summer at the time and I was like, we've got to make them. So,

Young Hollywood

That's awesome. And then where can they find those later on?

Rosanna Pansino

Wow. So many places, right? I just found out the line is going to be in every Michael's store. Amazing. Joanne's, Walmart, Party City's and on Amazon. Also, you can find it online at wilton. com.

Young Hollywood

Perfect.

Rosanna Pansino

And for any updates, they can go to wilton. com/rosannapansino and we're going to have stuff that I've designed that doesn't exist in the baking world that I wish did exist. Yes. And we recreated some things that already existed, but I'mma be honest, I made it better.

Young Hollywood

Rosanna, you've been awesome. You're hilarious. We wish you the best of luck with everything.

Rosanna Pansino

Oh, thank you. Thanks for having me.

Young Hollywood

Of course. See you soon. This is amazing.
