The woman who allegedly entered Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's Calabasas, California home without an invite in March (15) has been charged with trespassing.

Ariel Archer, 26, from Richmond, Virginia, was reportedly found in the kitchen of the Hollywood couple's home by the family housekeeper, according to prosecutors.

Will, Jada and their children Willow and Jaden were not at home at the time, but lawyers claim the intruder refused to leave.

On Monday (22Jun15), Archer was formally charged with one misdemeanour count of trespassing and refusing to leave private property in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Archer pleaded no contest to the charges and was subsequently sentenced to three years probation. In addition, she was given a restraining order, prohibiting her from getting within 150 yards of the Smiths' residence, as well as the actors and their family members.

Officials at the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department are continuing to investigate the case.
