Rihanna stuns and shocks during trip to religious site

Rihanna was mobbed by fans in Brazil on Friday (23Sep11) as she made a pilgrimage to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.

The Umbrella hitmaker is in South America on the latest leg of her Loud tour and she took time out to get up close to Brazil's most famous religious landmark.

But she risked upsetting locals by forgetting to take off a necklace pendant that spelled out the word 'c**t' before visiting the religious site and a nearby chapel.

She also wasn't dressed for church - the singer wore a revealing yellow shirt, ripped denim short shorts and a pair of black mesh boots.
