Lohan never saw Plein's designs before signing on as spokesmodel

Lindsay Lohan signed up to model Philipp Plein's new couture line before she got a chance to see any of the German fashion designer's new work.

The Mean Girls star was unveiled as Plein's new muse at a press conference in Italy on Saturday (24Sep11) during Milan Fashion Week, but Lohan admits the deal was done somewhat "spontaneously" - and she had little time to bond with the designer.

Lohan confessed she and Plein "just met (on) Friday" (23Sep11), but she is already a fan of his fashion creations.

She tells the New York Post's Page Six column, "Something important to know about this collection is that it's expressing something a little bit more edgy."

And Plein is equally as enamoured. He says, "Lindsay is a beautiful, highly acclaimed actress and model. We will be able to create unique images: Refined and luxurious, but also full of sensuality."
