Lindsay Lohan is a no-show for court deposition
Lindsay Lohan failed to show for a deposition related to her ongoing court battle with a photographer on Monday (08Apr13).
The Mean Girls star had been ordered to appear at a hearing in Los Angeles as part of her ongoing legal spat with snapper Grigor Balyan, who claims he ended up in hospital after he was hit by Lohan's car outside a nightclub in 2010.
But according to TMZ.com, Lohan missed the meeting, despite her
attorney Julia Azrael's reported attempts to get in touch with her
client about the important date.
The website reports that Balyan's lawyers are now set to file
papers demanding a judge force Lohan to show up for the next day in
court.
Azrael spoke out in February (13) to criticize Lohan for allegedly
failing to keep in contact and sort out a date for the
deposition.
The 26 year old has just a few weeks to get her personal matters in
order before she has to enrol in a rehabilitation facility by 2 May
(13) for a court-ordered 90-day treatment stint.
Lohan was handed that punishment for lying to police over a car
crash in California last year (12).
