Leonardo DiCaprio celebrates 11-11-11 birthday with stars

Leonardo DiCaprio celebrated his birthday on 11-11-11 with a star-studded party in New York City at 11.11pm.

The Titanic star invited Robert De Niro, Naomi Campbell, Bradley Cooper, Edward Norton and Benicio Del Toro to his bash at the Avenue nightclub on Friday (11Nov11).

DJs Mark Ronson, Q-tip and Jus Ske entertained the crowd, while Swedish pop group Miike Snow performed their hit Animal.

The birthday boy shared his good fortune by raising $1.3 million for his Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation at the party.

The actor placed an additional fee on all drinks and Champagne bottles and will donate the money to his charity, which helps preserve wildlife and provides relief for disaster-hit areas.

An auction at the event also raised more than $50,000 for the cause.
