Justin Bieber to take paternity test
Justin Bieber has offered to take a paternity test in a bid to disprove allegations he fathered a child with a 20-year-old woman, according to the claimant's lawyers.
Mariah Yeater claims she fell pregnant with the star's baby after a tryst with the singer backstage at a concert in Los Angeles, and she has filed a paternity lawsuit against the star.
Bieber has vehemently denied the allegations and his lawyers have
vowed to do everything possible to disprove Yeater's story, and her
attorneys have now confirmed the singer has offered to take a
paternity test.
Yeater's lawyers, Matt Pare and Lance Rogers, tell the New York
Post, "We are encouraged that Justin Bieber will voluntarily take
the paternity test. That is the only way to definitively determine
who the father is. The paternity suit was filed in good faith, and
it will continue..."
Bieber's spokesman Matthew Hiltzik says, "We are going to take
every step to defend and protect Justin."
