Ashton Kutcher wants donations in Steve Jobs' memory
Ashton Kutcher has asked fans to honor Steve Jobs by making donations to an educational charity co-founded by the late Apple, Inc. boss' wife.
Steve Jobs, the brains behind iTunes and the iPod, died earlier this month (Oct11) after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Shortly after his passing, Ashton Kutcher paid tribute to the
computer icon by displaying Steve Jobs' photo on his Twitter.com
page, and now he is appealing for contributions to College Track,
an organization launched by Jobs' wife, Laurene Powell Jobs.
In a post on Twitter, Steve Kutcher writes, "Join me in honouring
Steve Jobs by donating to College Track," before posting a link to
the online campaign.
More than $80,000 has been raised for the program, which helps send
underprivileged high school students to college.
